Reading the site does not set a cookie. There is no analytics cookie and no advertising cookie from this site.
After you sign in, the site sets rw_session. It is HttpOnly and SameSite=Lax, it lasts 30 days, and it holds the session token for the contribute page. Signing out or deleting the account clears it.
X and Apple
The status page shows posts embedded from X. Each embed is loaded with Do Not Track turned on. X may still set its own cookies. View on X is an ordinary link and does not load the embed by itself.
If a report shows an app icon, your browser loads it from Apple. Apple can see the IP address of that request.
Checks and counts
The contribute form loads Cloudflare Turnstile when a site key is set. That check is Cloudflare's, and Cloudflare may set its own cookie.
Cloudflare Web Analytics, when its token is set, does not use a cookie. PostHog, when its key is set, keeps data in memory for the tab and does not write a cookie or local storage. Neither script is on the page while those values are empty.
Local storage
The dark-mode button stores the word light or dark in local storage on your device. That is not a cookie. Clearing site data removes it. If you have not chosen, the page follows your system theme.
The status page stores the last tab you opened in local storage under the name wait-tab. The saved value is update, testflight, first-submission, or expedited. That is not a cookie. Clearing site data removes it.
